What are the Grand Challenges?

THE GRAND CHALLENGES (GCs) FACING HUMANITY, ALL OTHER SPECIES AND THE PLANET ARE INTERCONNECTED CRISES THAT THREATEN LIFE AND THE ECOSYSTEMS THAT SUSTAIN LIFE.

The following is a list of the some of the overarching categories of GCs:

01 - Ecological and Environmental Challenges

02 - Social and Political Challenges

03 - Technological and Economic Challenges

04 - Existential and Civilizational Risk Challenges

05 - Inter-Species Challenges

06 - Spiritual and Consciousness Raising Challenges

All of these challenges are interwoven, and this list is hardly exhaustive. Addressing these challenges constructively and sustainably and at scale, will require unprecedented amounts of capital, new economic and political models (Copionics?), a reorientation of value paradigms (both human and natural), and a reimagining of the cognitive foundations of our species.
